Hospital funding thorughout Victoria is exteremly tight at the moment, but every effort is being made to finance the opening of the Goulburn Valley Base Hospital.

Shepparton Theatre Arts Group is staging a charity premiere of their next production, "The Little Tin Solider", in aid of the hospital's furniture and equipment appeal,

The night will start at 7 pm with a big family party.

Day hospital patients such as Mr Gordon Moore (pictured) are assisting by making paper flowers and food trays.

It is hoped the general public will show an equal level of enthusiasm and support the night.

Tickets for the party and pantomime are available from Werner's Pharmacy, Mooroopna and Goulburn Valley Hospitals at a cost of $5 which covers both the show and the party.

The premiere will be held at the Civic Centre on Wednesday, November 16.
