An induction program for motor Mechanic Apprentices was held recently at the Shepparton Technical College.
Seven apprentices from the Goulburn Valley successfully completed the course.
The program involved three weeks of study at the Shepparton Technical College followed by a week of theory and practical application at the Goulburn Valley Driver Training Complex.
Head of the Automotive Department at Shepparton Technical College, Mr Ron Scales said this was the first course offered to apprentice mechanics.
"Results so far indicate the course was satisfactory, and we hope to hold another course during the school holidays at the end of this year.
