Shyness battled with curiosity yesterday when the music of roving busker, Peter Casey, caught this youngster attention in Wyndham St.
Peter, from the NSW town of Windsor, is traveling around Australia and using music to keep him on the road.
He took up full-time busking about a year ago, after giving up his job as a construction worker because of arthritis.
His stop in Shepparton yesterday was part of a trip that has taken him to Whalia in South Australia and back along the coast to Melbourne.
Other trips have taken him as far as Cairns.
Peter travels and lives in a small van.
"It's a living," he said.
"Not a lot of money, but I enjoy it. I see an awful lot of country and it has opened my eyes."
