January 9, 1976: New call sign for aerial

by
September 21, 2017

The old aerial used by White Top taxis in Shepparton has been donated to the local State Emergency Service.

The aerial is to be used by the SES to strengthen its two way radio system.

The decision to hand the aerial over was made by the management of White Top after discussion with the SES.

White Top has purchased a new aerial and will install new equipment at the base to improve radio reception there.

The old aerial is presently being pulled down and moved away.

Pictured this week at the White Top base (from bottom to top) are Mr Sam Commisso, Mr Jim Bartlett, Mr Eric Kay (on roof), Mr Owen Lloyd and Mr Alan Meddings.
